Midori and her mother return to the town where she was born and used to go to school. There's a fortune-telling fad gripping the city called 'tsuji-ura' (corner fortune-telling) whereby you stop a stranger at a street corner while covering your face and ask them to read your fortune. Midori makes new friends, but is especially moved to rediscover the friendship of a mysterious boy in her class who she knew as a child. Meanwhile, some students have been comitting suicide shortly after having their tsuji-ura read by a strange supernatural figure. Naturally, someone has to get to the bottom of it all. |
